Role Overview
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, project cost tracking, financial reporting, compliance, and management support.
Provide accurate financial data for an engineering company operating in the UAE.
Accounting Operations
- Maintain complete and accurate accounting records for all company transactions.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including supplier payments, subcontractor invoices, and client billing.
- Reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and general ledger accounts.
- Process payroll and staff expense claims when required.
Reporting and Project Finance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor project-wise costs, budgets, and profitability.
- Assist with cash-flow forecasting and budget preparation.
- Support management with financial analysis and reports.
Tax, Audit, and Compliance
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
