This individual will provide strategic and operational leadership for the delivery of high-quality client deliverables across all patient services workstreams. This role is responsible for the planning, implementation, and oversight of processes that support optimal process flow, experience and outcomes. The account director collaborates cross-functionally with leadership from other business units and external partners to design, deliver, and optimize patient service solutions- including access, affordability, education, and adherence programs that improve the patient experience and drive successful product outcomes for our pharmaceutical clients.
The Account Director, Patient Services will bring deep expertise in patient support services, a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical commercialization lifecycle, and proven leadership in managing client relationships.
Role responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, research and resolve issues, escalating as needed.
Lead client meetings, create agendas, take minutes and prepare other communications.
Lead team meetings and stretch projects to further support the Patient Services Team.

Communicates with and engages internal subject matter experts as needed, including Compendia strategy, distribution strategy, licensing and e-prescribing.
Drafts, completes and submits required forms and documents, including statement of work proposals and contracts.

Provide leadership to HUB and third-party vendors to ensure key project milestones are on task according to project timeline
Develop and assess third party vendor support to gauge overall success (audits, customer satisfaction surveys).
Develops, issues and analyzes responses to other vendor RFPs; presents recommendations to client; performs initial third-party vendor and HUB onsite visits
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree from accredited four-year college or university.
7+ years' total commercial pharmaceutical related experience with a minimum of 3 years' experience in HUB/patient services management. Experience in patient services consulting is highly desirable.
Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences. Effective negotiation and presentation skills.
Analytical skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset.
Interpersonal skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, including HUB/patient services vendors, manufacturers, and other industry partners.
Previous launch experience in multiple disease state areas is a plus but not necessary
Must possess the ability to manage several projects concurrently with ease and professionalism.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
