Job Purpose
The Accident Investigation Officer is responsible for handling and investigating all accident-related cases reported by customers and the fleet team.
The role ensures accurate documentation, timely follow-up on police reports, proper coordination with internal departments, and resolution of cases in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- **Accident Case Management**
- + Receive and review accident reports from customers and the fleet team.
- + Create and maintain detailed case records for each incident.
- + Ensure all required information and documentation are collected (photos, statements, trip details, etc.).
- **Investigation Analysis**
- + Conduct thorough investigations to determine the root cause and liability of each accident.
- + Review trip data, vehicle condition, and customer behavior.
- + Identify inconsistencies or potential misuse/fraud cases.
- **Police Report Follow-up**
- + Track and follow up on police report status until final issuance.
- + Ensure all reports are aligned with internal case findings.
- **Stakeholder Coordination**
- + Work closely with Customer Service, Fleet, And operations.
- + Communicate findings and updates clearly to all stakeholders.
- + Support customer communication when needed (clarifications, updates, outcomes).
- **Compliance Documentation**
- + Ensure all investigations comply with company policies and local regulations.
- + Maintain accurate and organized documentation for audit and legal purposes.
- + Prepare case summaries and final reports.
- **Reporting Insights**
- + Track accident trends and recurring issues.
- + Provide regular reports on accident volume, causes, and resolution timelines.
- + Suggest preventive measures to reduce future incidents.
