About the Role
BEACON RED is seeking an experienced 3D Modeller to support the development of advanced 3D models for digital twin projects in Abu Dhabi. The role combines hands-on modelling with leadership of a small CAD team, requiring expertise in laser scanning, point-cloud processing, BIM modelling, and rendering.

Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D models for mechanical components, structures, buildings, and infrastructure assets
- Capture and process indoor and outdoor laser scan data
- Convert point cloud data into accurate vector based models
- Create, maintain, and update BIM models
- Produce high quality rendered visualizations and presentations
- Ensure proper georeferencing and spatial accuracy of digital models
- Collaborate with technical experts and project stakeholders to deliver design solutions
- Lead, mentor, and support a small team of CAD Draftsmen
- Apply advanced CAD modelling techniques to meet project requirements
- Support the continuous development of digital twin and 3D modelling capabilities
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar 3D Modelling, BIM, or Digital Engineering role
- Proven experience with 3D laser scanning, point cloud data processing, and model development
- Strong ability to translate concepts into detailed 3D mechanical and architectural designs
- Experience producing photorealistic renderings
- Proficiency with advanced CAD modelling tools and workflows
- Good understanding of BIM principles and model management
- Experience converting point cloud data into vector based models
- Knowledge of georeferencing and spatial data integration
- Proficiency with AutoCAD 3D, Fusion 360, SketchUp, Revit (or similar BIM platforms), and ArcGIS/QGIS
- Previous experience leading, training, or mentoring CAD teams is highly desirable
