The Distribution Center Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the distribution center, ensuring the efficient, safe, and accurate handling of inventory and timely completion of assignments.

This role requires effective delegation, coaching, and monitoring of associates to meet quality and safety standards.

The supervisor will ensure all safety protocols are adhered to, manage inbound and outbound inventory, and maintain clean, organized, and secure warehouse conditions.

Additionally, this position serves as a liaison between associates and management, ensuring clear communication and up-to-date training.

The supervisor is also accountable for maintaining operational continuity by managing shifts, conducting interviews, and ensuring all processes are executed in compliance with company standards.

• Responsible for covering the assigned shift, with the flexibility to support other shifts during unusual or emergency situations to maintain operational continuity.
• A flexible schedule, including coming early or staying late and weekends, is required to support a 24/7 operation and meet operational needs.
• Delegates, assigns and monitors scheduled assignments to ensure on time completion.
• Focuses on quality over quantity by utilizing quality control checks, ensuring compliance with food safety and product quality protocols, and make sure trailers inspections are completed for safety, food safety and CTPAT purposes.
• Oversees all inbound and outbound operations, including FTLs, LTLs (picking), and repacking processes, ensuring shipments are certified for quality control and loaded/unloaded efficiently.
• Manages internal and external receiving, ensuring that inventory is accurate and received on time, and that all items are correctly identified and located, including reviewing available inventory and locations for possible updates.
