About the Role
Export Development Canada (EDC) seeks a Platform Owner for Automation Platforms to own the end-to-end health, strategy, and value realization of enterprise automation and workflow platforms.

Responsibilities
- Define and own the enterprise vision and multi year roadmap for intelligent automation and workflow platforms
- Align platform capabilities to EDC's business priorities, transformation initiatives, and operating model
- Balance run, grow, and transform demands while managing technical debt and platform sustainability
- Partner with Technical Leads, Developers, BAs, and delivery teams to ensure solutions align with platform standards
- Work closely with Business Enablement team and Automation COE to assess and prioritize automation opportunities
- Establish and enforce platform governance, standards, and guardrails
- Act as final decision authority for platform design choices and onboarding of new use cases
- Represent the platform in architecture reviews, governance forums, and executive discussions
- Collaborate with other platform owners to ensure alignment to enterprise architecture standards
- Own strategic relationships with platform vendors and implementation partners
- Partner with Automation COE and GenAI COE to evaluate AI augmented automation use cases
Requirements
- Post secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience working with enterprise automation, workflow, or low code platforms
- Demonstrated experience acting as a platform owner, product owner, or technical product lead
- Strong hands on understanding of UiPath, ServiceNow CSM/App Engine/Workflow Data Fabric, and Microsoft Power Platform
- Solid understanding of enterprise architecture principles, integration patterns and APIs, security, risk, and compliance in regulated environments
- Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic decision making
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills

What We Are Looking For

- Bilingual in English and French.
Compensation Details
- Platform Owner 18: Salaries typically range from CAD 96,557 to CAD 128,743 annually.
- Plus performance based incentive.
