About the Role

Responsibilities
- Define and own the enterprise vision and multi year roadmap for intelligent automation and workflow platforms
- Align platform capabilities to business priorities, transformation initiatives, and operating model
- Establish and enforce platform governance, standards, and guardrails
- Act as the final decision authority for platform design choices and onboarding of new use cases
- Partner with Automation COE, business teams, and platform teams to enable delivery
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new features and capabilities
- Represent the platform in architecture reviews, governance forums, and executive discussions
- Ensure GenAI capabilities are integrated into automation platforms in a controlled manner
Requirements
- Post secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience working with enterprise automation, workflow, or low code platforms
- Demonstrated experience acting as a platform owner, product owner, or technical product lead
- Strong hands on understanding of UiPath, ServiceNow (CSM, App Engine, Workflow Data Fabric), and Microsoft Power Platform
- Solid understanding of enterprise architecture principles, integration patterns and APIs, security and compliance
- Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic decision making
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills

Position Overview
- The Platform Owner, Automation Platforms is accountable for the end to end health, strategy, and value realization of EDC's enterprise automation and workflow platforms.
- This role ensures the platforms are fit for purpose, scalable, secure, and compliant.
- Platforms in scope: UiPath, ServiceNow (CSM, App Engine, Workflow Data Fabric), Microsoft Power Platform, Azure based integration services.
What you will be doing
- Define and own the enterprise vision and multi year roadmap for intelligent automation and workflow platforms.
- Align platform capabilities to EDC's business priorities, transformation initiatives, and operating model.
- Balance run, grow, and transform demands while managing technical debt.
- Partner with Technical Leads, Developers, BAs, and delivery teams.
- Enable effective intake, prioritization, and sequencing for ServiceNow CSM.
- Ensure strong release management, lifecycle management, and production support models.
- Assess, shape, and size RPA and workflow automation opportunities.
- Qualify automation use cases for the right platform (UiPath, ServiceNow, Power Platform, or hybrid).
- Maintain the operating model for citizen development.
- Establish and enforce platform governance, standards, and guardrails.
- Act as the final decision authority for platform design choices.
- Collaborate with other platform owners to ensure consistent integration patterns.
What we are looking for
- Post secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with enterprise automation, workflow, or low code platforms.
- Demonstrated experience as a platform owner, product owner, or technical product lead.

Compensation Details
- Platform Owner 18: salaries typically range from CAD 96,557 to CAD 128,743 annually, plus performance based incentive.
Location
- Hybrid work environment with two in office days per week (increasing to three in September 2026).
- Can be performed from Ottawa, Toronto, Mississauga, Montreal, Brossard, Laval, Calgary, Halifax, or Vancouver.
