Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable banking and payment solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. The candidate should have strong expertise in Java-based backend development, API integrations, micro services architecture, and financial services platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for the Passport platform.
- Develop and enhance microservices-based applications following domain-driven design and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Business Analysts, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Design and implement secure integrations with third-party vendors, banking partners, payment processors, and internal platforms.
- Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to long-term technology strategy and roadmap planning.
- Drive application modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption, framework upgrades, and infrastructure migrations.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, availability, and resiliency through proactive monitoring and tuning.
- Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and engineering best practices.
