POSITION OBJECTIVE Reporting to the Community Outreach Lead, this position provides front-line, housing-focused outreach through both YRAD dispatch response and on-site support within the Hub Yard at 473 St.
George Street.
YRAD staff respond to dispatch calls in the community while maintaining a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed environment within the Hub Yard.
This role requires balancing dispatch response with in-yard responsibilities, maintaining clear communication to ensure continuous coverage and support.

Outreach and Case Management: Respond to YRAD dispatch calls in a timely manner, providing trauma -informed, person-centered, and harm reduction-based support in the community.
Maintain a consistent and active presence within the Hub Yard, supporting day-to-day member interactions and overall safety.
Engage members through relationship-building, regular check-ins, and YMCA of Greater Moncton ______________________________________________________________________ ongoing support.
Provide crisis response, including overdose intervention, de-escalation, and coordination with emergency services when required.
Distribute harm reduction supplies and provide education on safer use practices.

Data Management and Reporting: Utilize HIFIS to maintain accurate, timely, and complete client records, including intake forms, service notes, assessments, and case plans.
Track referrals, outcomes, and follow-ups in accordance with program standards and funder expectations.
Ensure secure storage, logging, and handling of sensitive documents such as ID, mail, and tax-related paperwork.
Uphold strict standards of privacy, confidentiality, and data protection in all case documentation and information sharing.
Contribute to program monitoring and evaluation through accurate data entry and participation in quarterly and annual reporting processes.

Completion of post-secondary education in Social Service Work, Community Support, Human Services, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered. Standard First Aid and CPR Level C (or Basic Rescuer CPR) certification required. Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening is required as a condition of employment. Social Development Record Check may be required depending on program placement. Valid driver’s license and clear driver’s abstract are considered strong assets. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and variable hours as needed.
