Yardmaster-Beaumont, TX

One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals .

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence .

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization .

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100' s.

Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Ability to apply common sense of understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form .

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations .

Ability to facilitate root cause investigation meetings.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of and demonstrate competency in Customer specific data ba se system s; Lotus Notes or Internet Email Internet software; Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.

Must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator’s driver license and have the willingness to use personal and/or company vehicle during employment .

Must possess safety training/certification as required by customers to work in thei r facilities and as required by TGS at all TGS locations.

Other Skills and Abilities : Must take and pass the required examinations for the described position to properly maintain competency and skills levels .
