About the Role
Fakeeh Care Group is looking for a Senior Radiology Technician to perform conventional x-rays and assist in special and interventional procedures. The role requires at least 2 years of post-diploma experience and a relevant diploma or bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities
- Carry out routine radiographic examinations in line with the policies and procedures of the department
- Assist in carrying out specialized radiologic procedures under the supervision of senior staff
- Responsible for correct identification of patients and site of exposure before each examination
- Responsible for final reminder of female patients or female companion for the possibility of being pregnant or not
- Remove all radio opaque materials from patient or table that could interfere with radiographic image
- Verify accuracy of film identification
- Do aseptic technique before doing procedures
- Prepare contrast agent for administration
- Document required information on patient log book
- Evaluate radiographs for diagnostic quality
- Prepare and adjust radiographic unit and accessories
- Evaluate the need for use protective shielding and take appropriate precautions to minimize radiation exposure to patients and visitors & staff
Requirements
- Must hold an appropriate radiographic/technological diplomas / Bachelor degree
- Must be in continuous good radiological practice and should hold at least 2 years’ post diploma experience
- License for practice as per the regional health regulatory authority e.g. (SCFHS / DHA)
- Excellent command of oral and written English
- Knowledge of Arabic is preferable
- Able to clearly communicate with physicians, non medical staff, patients and their families
