Software Engineer role based in India within NatWest Digital X.
The role is offered at associate vice president level.
The engineer will build secure, robust, customer-centric, and high-performance digital solutions.
What you will do
- Engineer and maintain software, scripts, and tools that may be complex.
- Produce critical software rapidly and to a high quality standard.
- Work across development, enhancement, maintenance, replacement, and decommissioning.
- Design, produce, test, and implement code across the software lifecycle.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
- Support requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and operations.
- Help optimize the organization’s software engineering capability.
Required experience and skills
- Background in software engineering, software design, and architecture.
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience with Java Microservices, Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, AWS services, and cloud architecture.
- Expertise in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation, and automation.
- Experience with container platforms such as Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, or Lambda.
