Position Summary
Deloitte USI Consulting Services is seeking Workday Technical professionals with hands-on experience in at least one full ERP implementation.
The role designs, builds, tests, deploys, and supports enterprise-scale Workday technical integration solutions.
The practitioner manages technical workstream responsibilities and guides junior team members across the project lifecycle.
Work You Will Do
- Analyze client requirements and design, build, test, and deploy Workday technical integrations.
- Support all project phases from requirements gathering and technical design through post-go-live support.
- Coordinate end-to-end integration testing and cutover with client IT and boundary system teams.
- Ensure solutions are accurately built, thoroughly tested, and aligned with client needs.
Required Qualifications
- 6 or more years of consulting or relevant industry experience in Workday Technical or related ERP technical roles.
- Hands-on experience in at least one end-to-end ERP implementation in a technical role.
- Ability to translate functional and integration requirements into robust technical designs.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Workday Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Workday EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, and Workday Studio.
- Experience using Workday integration tools to design, build, test, and deploy integrations.
- Experience creating and maintaining integration technical design documents.
- Experience conducting unit testing, supporting test cycles, and addressing technical defects.
- Experience with data conversions is preferred.
Additional Experience
- Experience with Oracle Cloud, Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft, or SAP FICO may be considered when paired with the ability to transition to newer technologies.
- Multiple full-lifecycle ERP implementations are preferred for more experienced resources.
- Experience leading design discussions and owning solutioning using Workday tools is preferred.
Leadership and Delivery
- Mentor junior consultants and review their technical deliverables.
- Coordinate with client IT and boundary systems for end-to-end testing and cutover activities.
- Manage technical workstream responsibilities and deliver solutions to project standards.
