Workday Prism & Accounting Systems Analyst

You should have 6-9 years in Workday Prism Analytics with Accounting Center and Cross-Functional responsibilities to design , build, and optimize Workday Prism datasets, ingestion processes, data transformations, and data pipelines, while also managing external data ingestion through SFTP, REST APIs, and other connectors.

You will create dashboards, operational reports, and analytic insights for Finance, Accounting, and cross‑functional stakeholders, and implement best practices for incremental loads, performance tuning, data quality, and governance.

You will troubleshoot dataset issues, ingestion failures, schema changes, and source‑system discrepancies to ensure accurate and reliable data flows. You will design and configure Accounting Center source mappings, transformation logic, and accounting rules, supporting the transition of accounting logic from spreadsheets and integrations into Accounting Center for stronger automation and transparency.

You will partner with Finance and Accounting teams to validate journal creation, accounting treatments, balancing, and reconciliation logic, while also supporting new business processes, acquisitions, and system enhancements.

You will perform root‑cause analysis of accounting errors, mapping issues, and transaction‑level discrepancies to maintain data and accounting integrity.

You will collaborate cross‑functionally to maintain consistent data standards, support Workday financial reporting tools, document specifications and data lineage, contribute to tenant configuration and testing cycles, and ensure compliance with security, governance, and data policies.
