Senior DevOps Engineer

You will design, implement, and manage large-scale Kubernetes platforms (EKS/GKE), including multi-region deployments that ensure high availability, scalability, and business continuity.

You will oversee the complete Kubernetes cluster lifecycle, including provisioning, upgrades, patching, scaling, and disaster recovery planning.

You will build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Harness to improve deployment speed, reliability, and operational efficiency.

You will develop and operate EKS environments leveraging technologies such as Cilium, Istio/Envoy, Karpenter, IRSA, and Pod Identity, while contributing to the adoption of Backstage through templates, scaffolding workflows, and service catalog management.

You will create reusable Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) modules, platform automation frameworks, and AI-driven capabilities such as deployment risk analysis, anomaly detection, and pipeline insights.

You will strengthen platform security, observability, and reliability by implementing DevSecOps best practices, defining SLIs/SLOs, participating in incident response, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance developer experience and platform adoption.

You should have 5 to 8years of experience in DevOps and Platform Engineering, with strong hands-on expertise managing production-scale Kubernetes environments on EKS and GKE.

You should have deep proficiency in Terraform and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Harness, with a focus on automation, scalability, and operational reliability.

You should possess strong programming skill in Python, along with a solid understanding of Kubernetes networking, RBAC, autoscaling, service meshes, API gateways, and multi-cloud environments across AWS.

You should have experience with Backstage developer platforms and a proven ability to build reusable developer workflows, golden paths, and self-service capabilities that enhance engineering productivity.

You should demonstrate knowledge of DevSecOps practices, software supply chain security, artifact governance tools, Kafka, and AI-powered DevOps solutions that drive operational efficiency and deployment intelligence.

You should have excellent communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills; certifications such as AWS or GCP Solutions Architect, CKA, CKAD, CKS, or HashiCorp Terraform Associate will be considered an added advantage.
