Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for Workday enhancements across HR, Finance, Procurement, and Projects
- Conduct interviews and analysis sessions to understand current business processes and future needs
- Translate documented requirements into functional specifications and configure Workday modules
- Collaborate with technical teams on solution design, configuration, and integration development
- Act as functional subject matter expert during design, development, and implementation phases
- Develop test scripts and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions
- Manage and prioritize defects and enhancements identified during testing
- Develop and execute change management plans for new solutions
- Create training materials and support documentation for end users and administrators
- Leverage AI capabilities to support future business initiatives
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a Workday environment
- 5+ years of experience performing requirements analysis with various functional areas of business and mapping requirements to HRIS and Finance ERP capabilities
- Demonstrated functional knowledge of Workday HCM, Financial Management, Procurement, and Projects
- Ability to lead joint analysis and design sessions
- Experience with waterfall and Agile based project methodologies
- Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
- Strong ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non technical audiences
- University degree in technology related field or business
- AI Automation experience (nice to have)
- MS Office/Google Suite expertise (nice to have)
- Testing experience with automated tools (nice to have)

Requirements, Design, and Implementation – Workday
- Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for Workday enhancements across HR, Finance, Procurement, and Projects.
- Conduct interviews and analysis sessions to understand current business processes and future needs.
- Translate documented requirements into clear actionable functional specifications documents and configure Workday modules.
- Collaborate with technical teams on solution design, configuration, and integration development.
- Act as the functional subject matter expert (SME) during design, development, and implementation phases.
- Help identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating Workday with external systems.
- Facilitate complex issue discussion meetings and resolve ambiguity.
- Contribute to successful project completion by identifying risks and recommending mitigating strategies.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Legal, and Information Security teams to validate solutions.
- Provide leadership in process improvement initiatives and enhance system and support documentation.
- Leverage AI capabilities to support future business initiatives.
- Lead and drive change management activities for Workday solutions.
Testing, Quality Assurance, and Support
- Develop detailed test scripts and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions.
- Manage and prioritize defects and enhancements identified during testing.
- Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans for new solutions.
- Create training materials and support documentation for end users and administrators.
- Act as an ambassador to promote and educate the enterprise on new Workday functionality.
Must Have(s)
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a Workday environment.
- Demonstrable functional knowledge of Workday HCM, Financial Management, Procurement, and Projects.
- Minimum 5 years of experience performing requirements analysis with various functional areas.
- Ability to lead joint analysis and design sessions.
- Business Analysis experience with demonstrated ability to gather and define requirements.
- Ability to lead and work closely with teams outside of technology areas.
- Demonstrated experience with waterfall and Agile based project methodologies.
- Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
- University degree in technology related field or business.

Salary Range
- 90K/year 100K/year CAD.
