Work Study - STEP Classroom Assistant Salary: Minimum Wage The STEP Classroom Assistant will help with tasks around the MVCC STEP Lab during our after-school program which operates Monday - Friday, 2:30pm - 5:00pm with occasional Saturday hours available. Our program serves youth in grades 7th-12th from the Utica City School District who are interested in pursuing careers in the STEM field or licensed professions. The STEP Classroom Assistant will assist STEP staff in maintaining learning environment, assisting with facilitating activities (handing out materials, assisting students as needed), providing positive mentorship, encouraging students on their educational journey, and keeping classroom clean. This individual may also help with outreach and paperwork as needed.
