Responsibilities
- Design and develop woodworking plans meeting functional and aesthetic requirements
- Oversee production process to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Conduct material selection and testing for quality and durability
- Collaborate with architects and designers to integrate woodworking elements into larger projects
- Provide technical support and guidance to production team
- Implement and maintain safety protocols in the woodworking shop
- Install, commission, operate, and maintain woodworking machinery (CNC, panel saws, edge banders, sanders)
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, and machine upgrades
- Analyze machine drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
- Train technicians and operators on safe operation and routine maintenance
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 4 5 years of experience in maintenance or engineering of woodworking machinery
- Proven experience in woodworking design and production
- Proficient in CAD software and other relevant design tools
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Sales background is a plus
