About the Role

  • Deliver a bespoke curriculum, built on the English National Curriculum.
  • Lead and develop performing arts provision across the school.
  • Challenge students to be ambitious learners, seeking out and implementing innovative teaching practices.
  • Support large scale school productions, concerts, showcases and community performances.
  • Work across campuses and age phases, building a cohesive performing arts culture.

About You

  • Create a learning culture where students are supported, challenged, and inspired.
  • Inclusive approach to EAL, supporting students with varying levels of English.
  • Teach subject content and actively develop language, literacy and communication fluency.
  • Meet the needs of all learners and teach students with a range of prior achievement.
  • Invested in promotion of subject within and beyond the classroom.
  • Receptive to feedback and ready to embrace change.

Essential Attributes

  • University degree in a relevant specialist subject.
  • Teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE/PDGE).
  • Teaching experience in a UK and/or international context.
  • Strong working knowledge of the English national curriculum as relevant to your subject.
  • Fluent English (native or near native level).
  • Ability to meet visa related restrictions for Qatar (Bachelor's degree and teaching qualification from face to face course).

  • Masters' degree, or evidence of further professional development.
