Responsibilities
- Coordinate team of Technicians to carry out maintenance activities ensuring continuous optimum operating conditions
- Co ordinate with Material Management Section to ensure activities are carried out without disruption to maintenance plans
- Co ordinate with MRP controller to ensure required spares are available in time and quantity
- Ensure availability of spares, material, manpower, and equipment in coordination with Planning section
- Record daily, weekly, and other plans as required for the plant
- Maintain time keeping records of subordinates and hired manpower
- Create reports to track planned vs actual work progress
- Input data for history, time entry, and closing of work orders ensuring quality
- Prepare Risk Analysis and Environment aspects
- Provide superiors with work status reports
Requirements
- Minimum High National Diploma or equivalent in relevant discipline
- Certification in welding or related field preferred
- Minimum 8 10 years direct and relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Heavy Manufacturing Industry
- Strong knowledge of various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) and associated materials
- Familiar with industry standards and regulations governing welding practices
- Strong supervisory and team management skills

Job Summary
- Role ensures plans and schedules are implemented in coordination with subordinates on a timely manner.
- Accountable for planning input for Workshop during major Turnarounds.
- Responsible for arranging manpower and resources, ensuring availability of spares and materials.
- Makes weekly reports and participates in routine Maintenance activities as required.
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate team of Technicians to carry out maintenance activities ensuring continuous optimum operating conditions.
- Co ordinate with Material Management Section to ensure activities are carried out without disruption.
- Co ordinate with MRP controller to ensure required spares are available in time and quantity.
- Ensure availability of spares, material, manpower, and equipment in coordination with Planning section.
- Record daily, weekly, and other plans as required for the plant.
- Maintain time keeping records of subordinates and hired manpower.
- Create reports to track planned vs actual work progress.
- Establish methods of document management and retrieval.
- Prepare periodic management reports.
- Assist in establishment of procedures and instructions for maintenance management systems.
- Input data for history, time entry, and closing of work orders.
- Preparation of Risk Analysis, Environment aspects.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum High National Diploma or equivalent in relevant discipline.
- Certification in welding or related field preferred.
