Welding Supervisor

• Lead the hiring, onboarding, training, and development of hourly team members.
• Conduct performance evaluations, guide career development, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment standards .
• Foster a high-performance environment through coaching, feedback, and clear expectations.

• Train employees on equipment use and enforce EFCO safety protocols.
• Proactively identify safety risks, lead incident investigations, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Use Leadership and Adaptability to model safe behaviors and corrective action where needed.

• Support a respectful, team-oriented work environment by recognizing contributions, resolving conflicts, and encouraging collaboration.
• Apply Oral Communication and Emotional Intelligence to keep employees informed, motivated, and aligned with department goals.

• Support special projects and broader plant initiatives as assigned by management.

• Education : College degree or equivalent experience required .
• Experience : 5+ years of experience.
• Certifications : CWB Certified Welding Supervisor.
• Leadership : Proven leadership and team motivation experience.
• Computer Skills : Excellent PC skills required .
• Additional Skills : Strong mathematical aptitude. Ability to interpret blueprints and production drawings. Working knowledge of manufacturing processes. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills required . Must be able to work effectively under pressure and maintain confidentiality.

Work involves medium physical effort including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and standing or walking for extended periods.
