- Perform MIG/CO2 welding on steel structures and heavy equipment components
- Fabricate and assemble metal parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Cut, fit, grind, and prepare steel materials for welding and assembly
- Manufacture and assemble garbage compactor bodies and related equipment
- Inspect welded joints and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Coordinate with supervisors and production teams to meet project deadlines
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
- Experience performing MIG/CO2 welding on steel structures and heavy equipment
- Ability to fabricate and assemble metal parts according to engineering drawings
- Experience cutting, fitting, grinding, and preparing steel materials
- Ability to inspect welded joints and ensure quality standards
- Experience in truck body building, garbage compactors, or similar heavy equipment preferred
