An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a contract position at their Bristol Machining facility, within the Turbines sector.

We are looking for a Skilled TIG Welder to join on a rotating shift pattern (mornings, afternoon and nights).

What you will be doing:

On a typical day as a Skilled Welder , you will be expected to; engage in Health and Safety activity, produce components at the highest Quality, follow Manufacturing Instructions and Data Cards and work to meet high volume requirements.

What you will be doing:

• Welding Nozzle Guide Vanes (NGVs) using Work Instructions, Technical Information & drawings, using the information to ensure all Engine components are welded to the highest of standard and are conforming to the required specification.
• Working to set deadlines to achieve performance targets and Customer delivery commitments.
• Ensuring Health & Safety is adhered to a high standard, at all times.

• Completed a recognised time-served apprenticeship including City and Guilds, NVQ3/SVQ3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline. (Original trade papers must be available for review at interview).
• Experienced of TIG Welding to agreed standards is essential.
