The Opportunity
Prepare high-quality dining experiences for residents at Lindfield Gardens Retirement Living in East Lindfield.
Use an à la carte-inspired approach to prepare fresh, well-presented meals balancing flavour, nutrition, and consistency.
Role Schedule
- Permanent part-time role working Saturday and Sunday from 9:30am to 5:30pm.
Your Impact
- Prepare and present fresh, high-quality meals with an à la carte influence across lunch and dinner service times.
- Support ordering, stock rotation, food preparation, and other day-to-day kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and compliance standards.
- Contribute ideas to functions, menu changes, and continuous dining experience improvements.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Build meaningful connections with residents and foster community and belonging.
What You'll Bring
- Experience as a Chef in a restaurant, hotel, healthcare, or quality hospitality environment.
- Confidence working independently while also being a strong team player.
- Strong communication skills and genuine interest in connecting with residents.
