Role Summary
Our client is looking for a
Webmethods Integration Specialist
to design, develop, and manage enterprise integrations across systems.
This role focuses on APIs, middleware, and seamless data exchange to ensure reliable and secure connectivity between applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations using the WebMethods platform
- Build and manage APIs, middleware services, and system interfaces
- Enable seamless data exchange between internal and external systems
- Monitor integration performance and ensure high availability and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration and connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols for data transmission and API access
- Support deployment, versioning, and lifecycle management of integration services
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and business teams
- Maintain documentation for integration architecture, workflows, and APIs
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–7 years of experience in integration and middleware development
- Strong hands-on experience with Software AG WebMethods
- Experience in API design, REST/SOAP services, and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of integration patterns and enterprise service bus (ESB) concepts
- Familiarity with messaging systems, data formats (JSON, XML), and protocols
- Understanding of system architecture and distributed environments
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance tuning of integrations
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud-based integration platforms
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of security standards (OAuth, SSL, API gateways)
- Experience in large enterprise or government environments
