Web Content Writer (Contract)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple content pieces, priorities, schedules, and deadlines.
• Coordinate with experts to define topics, audiences, storylines, and supporting documentation.
• Interview experts and translate technical information into clear customer-facing content.
• Write, edit, and refine content and iterate based on reviews.
• Follow templates, terminology, style guidelines, approval workflows, and version-control practices.
• Apply SEO/AEO practices and structure content for answer-oriented discovery.
• Use AI tools responsibly for storyboarding, drafting, summarizing, and rewriting.
• Prepare complete, formatted website content aligned with product positioning.

Qualifications and Experience

• Either hold a university degree in Electrical Engineering with communication or writing experience, or a university degree in Media or Communication Sciences with a strong interest in technology.
• At least 2 years of technical communications or writing experience for semiconductor, electronics, industrial, or hardware audiences.
• Excellent writing and communication skills for different technical audiences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel, and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Working knowledge of SEO and/or AEO fundamentals.
• Strong understanding of electronics and semiconductor domains, including MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC/GaN, power modules, and discretes.
• Experience creating and editing technical articles and developing content.
• Experience using AI tools with strong fact-checking habits.
• Strong organizational, project management, conceptual, communication, and collaboration skills.
