Role Overview
Infineon Technologies is seeking a Web Content Writer with strong semiconductor knowledge to create and manage customer-focused web content.
The role involves planning, writing, editing, publishing, and optimizing technical content while working closely with subject matter experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple content pieces, priorities, schedules, and deadlines.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts to define topics, shape storylines, identify audiences, and source supporting documents.
- Interview experts and translate technical details into clear customer-facing content.
- Write, edit, and refine content for clarity, accuracy, consistency, and rapid review cycles.
- Follow corporate templates, terminology, style guidelines, approval workflows, and version-control requirements.
- Apply on-page SEO and AEO practices and structure content for answer-oriented discovery.
- Use AI tools responsibly for storyboarding, drafting, summarization, and rewriting while checking technical accuracy.
- Ensure content is publishing-ready, properly formatted, complete with supporting assets, and aligned with product positioning.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in technical communications or writing for semiconductor, electronics, industrial, or hardware audiences.
- A university degree in Electrical Engineering with communication or writing experience, or a university degree in Media or Communication Sciences with a strong interest in technology.
- Excellent writing and communication skills for different technical audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
- Working knowledge of SEO and/or AEO fundamentals for technical content.
- Strong understanding of electronics and semiconductor domains, including MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC/GaN, power modules, and discretes.
- Strong organizational, project management, conceptual, collaboration, and deadline-management skills.
- Experience using AI tools in controlled content workflows with strong fact-checking habits.
