Allied Massage Therapist or Physiotherapy Technician – DPFM Clinic, Dubai

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Allied Massage Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in a wide range of therapeutic techniques and motivated to help patients recover, perform, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality sports massage therapy to patients, focusing on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement.
  • Utilize various massage techniques, including:
  • Deep tissue massage
  • Trigger point therapy
  • Myofascial release
  • Lymphatic drainage massage
  • Pre-event and post-event sports massage
  • Relaxation and recovery-focused treatments
  • Assess patients’ muscle and soft tissue conditions, identify problem areas, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate closely with physiotherapists, podiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  • Educate patients on self-care, stretching, and exercise techniques to support their ongoing recovery and performance goals.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is compliant with clinic policies and confidentiality standards.
  • Stay updated on emerging techniques, research, and best practices in sports and therapeutic massage through continuous professional development.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Massage Therapist.
  • **Valid DHA License (Allied Health).**
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and sports-related injuries.
  • Expertise in multiple massage modalities (deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial, and lymphatic).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • A genuine commitment to patient care, wellness, and continuous improvement.
