The World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Coordinator plays a key role in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across the plant. Understand and drive process stability and repeatability (meeting targets for productivity, quality, cost, lead time, safety, and environment)
Reduce process variation to support continuous improvement initiatives
Facilitate problem solving and continuous improvement across all production areas
Maintain and promote a continuous improvement mindset
Support management of the Continuous Improvement (T.I.M.) program and tracking of key CI projects

Develop, analyze, implement, and train on standardized work (SWCT, SWC, WBT; cycle, long cycle, material conveyance, shop floor quality checks), ensuring operator engagement and ownership

Provide training on improvement concepts (standardization, MPS, 5S, TPS, Lean, Pull Systems, MAFACT)
Coordinate with WCM Lead on daily scheduled projects. Participate in weekly GEMBA walks
Respond to ANDON calls and escalate as necessary. Escalate issues appropriately.
Review and respond to communications from other shifts
Prepare weekly KPI charts. Prepare reports, presentations, and employee communication materials
Attend meetings as required
Requirements:
Minimum completion of post-secondary education in Engineering or related field
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related field (i.e. Manufacturing/Industrial/Quality Engineering, Project Management, CI Coordinator/Black Belt, etc.)
Experience in automotive industry an asset. Extensive knowledge of MPS / Lean Manufacturing principles
Compensation: $60, 000 -$70,000
