As an Water Resource Engineer, in our Edmonton office you’ll be responsible for assisting multiple projects where you will have increasing interaction with our multi-disciplinary staff, regulatory agencies and clients. You will be part of a strong team of committed professionals.
The compensation range for this role is $31.00 to $55.00/hr, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location
To thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:
Developing and applying hydraulic and hydrologic models for flood studies, river engineering, and water management projects.
Completing flood, erosion, scour, and other hydrotechnical assessments.
Designing and assessing river engineering works and watercourse crossings.
Supporting regulatory approvals, permitting, and instream construction planning.
Conducting field investigations and site assessments.
Providing construction support and monitoring.
Managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
