Inspect, operate and maintain wastewater treatment systems, related equipment and components including, but not limited to, chemical metering pumps and transfer pumps, calibrate pH and ORP probes and control loops, maintain filters, coordinate routine work, and document observations and work performed.
Maintain and complete logs, driving records, and administrative forms of all maintenance and routine operations at sites.
Calibrate and troubleshoot various flow measuring devices such as Sigma, ISCO, and Foxboro.
Properly maintain various Programmable Logic Control Devices (PLCs).
Collect industrial wastewater grab samples and set up composite automatic samplers.
Possess a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude to understand and service treatment equipment such as pumps, valves, flow meters, probes, controls, and other system related equipment.
Assist with system repairs, upgrades, and installation of new equipment and systems.
Provide technical assistance to our customers.
Candidate must be motivated and a “self-starter” who is willing and able act in a professional and responsible manner at all times.
Basic Requirements:
Upon completion of emergency response training, individual will be on a rotating team; requirements include being on-call during your shift.
High School diploma or GED.
Driver's license in good standing.
Ability to work independently.
Possess strong problem-solving skills, comfortable with tools use, and understand electrical controls.
Comfortable with computer use, web form completion, and spreadsheets.
Ability to work overtime on a regular basis
Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday)
Must be able to report to designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts
Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
Must have a reliable form of transportation
Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
