What will you be doing!
Performing standardization, extrapolation, reconciliation, and validation on various data collected.
Managing data from a variety of sources, such as decommissioning, waste management, environmental remediation, and legacy liability.
Importing data into waste databases.
Reviewing the available information sources and data, identifying issues or gaps, and recommending potential improvements.
Providing ongoing support for databases and models required to manage and maintain the data.
Responding to customer requests for waste service information.
Populating waste data reports to provide performance metrics on volumes, shipments generated and dispositions off-site.
Supporting inspections of waste storage facilities.
Carrying out waste management quality assurance activities, including the implementation of a formal “Waste Certification” process.
Other duties as assigned by your manager.
What we are looking for:
Education Graduation from a recognized institute of advanced technology, or equivalent formal education, and a minimum of two years pertinent technological experience or Secondary School Honour Graduation or its equivalent, with a minimum of six years relevant experience or the equivalent in experience, additional education and/or training. Or Post-secondary education (University degree BSc) or College Diploma in a scientific field, or equivalent knowledge earned through a combination of education and relevant experience in the field of radioactive waste characterization.

Working Conditions
We have a compressed work week, which consists of a four-day work week and ten hours a day, starting at 6 am.
