Warehouse Supervisor

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and daily warehouse operations.
• Lead warehouse staff, assign tasks, manage schedules, and monitor performance and productivity.
• Ensure accurate inventory receiving, inspection, labeling, storage, movement, and recordkeeping.
• Conduct cycle counts, stock checks, and physical inventory audits, and investigate discrepancies and stock variances.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, operations, sales, and finance teams.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and ensure timely order processing and dispatch.
• Maintain warehouse organization, storage standards, equipment, tools, facilities, and space utilization.
• Implement procedures, safety standards, and operational controls and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Prepare performance reports covering inventory accuracy, fulfillment, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Identify process improvements, reduce costs, increase productivity, and train employees on procedures and safety.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, or a related field.
• Previous warehouse supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory control, safety, and operational procedures.
• Experience managing warehouse staff and coordinating daily activities.
• Strong organizational, leadership, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, inventory management, or warehouse management systems is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain inventory accuracy.
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant logistics, supply chain, warehouse, or operations field is preferred.
