About The Job

Kent is looking for a Warehouse Materials Handler to be based in Baytown, TX and support regional project site(s).

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.
  • Work with Buyer on tracking material to site.
  • Communicatee with vendors for materials being received and sent back.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and issue materials as required.
  • Ensure compliance with HSSEQ guidelines, ensure that all C.O.C. and MTR are with materials being received.
  • Work with NDE company for PMI testing.
  • Operate warehouse equipment and tools safely.
  • Perform other duties as required.

In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management.

These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization.

The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently.

All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.

Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:

Knowledge And Qualification And Training And Certification

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Certificate in Warehousing/Supply Chain is a plus).
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in warehouse/store operations, inventory control, or material handling.
  • Basic understanding of stock control, material receiving, and issuing processes.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures, PPE use, and proper lifting techniques.
  • Experience with inventory tracking systems or basic ERP software is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions accurately.
  • Forklift or Material handling certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Communication

  • Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.

  • Traveling is required as well as between various job sites.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to bring the project to successful completion.
  • Ability to work for extended durations, holidays, and weekends when necessary.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and embrace charter values.
  • Foster good relationships and team working ethic with sub-contract teams to promote safe working practices and efficiency.
  • Experience of working in an integrated team from diverse locations required.
  • Some lifting; max 50lbs.
