Ensure documented procedures and processes are developed and implemented throughout the department
Monitor daily activity of all shipping, receiving, and inventory warehouse employees to ensure the highest level of internal and external customer service
Oversee inventory controls, returns, product damage, material transactions, and inventory balances
Ensure coordination of inventory transfers and physical inventories
Guide individuals and groups towards effective control of material movement in, around, and outside of the facility
Act as a liaison between manufacturing and customer service
Direct ongoing communication and collaboration with customers (both internal and external) to ensure results meet or exceed customer expectations for service, quality, reliability, speed, and accuracy
Inspect physical condition of warehouses, including equipment, products, and supplies; order maintenance, repairs, or replacements as needed
