Work with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve service levels.
Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate shipment of orders.
Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks and containers, ensuring goods are handled correctly and securely.
Coordinate with external carriers and suppliers to arrange transportation and resolve shipping issues as needed.
Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities, including inventory logs, shipping documentation, and safety inspections.
Generate and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and any operational issues.
Provide regular updates to senior management regarding warehouse operations and any challenges or improvements.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills. Solid understanding of inventory management, logistics, and warehouse operations. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and proficiency in MS Office or other relevant software. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on KPIs and performance metrics. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 80 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, or move around the warehouse for extended periods.
