Role Description
- This is a part time hybrid role for a Warehouse Keeper based in Dubai, with some flexibility for work from home for administrative and documentation tasks.
- The Warehouse Keeper will be responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching goods according to company procedures and safety standards.
- Day to day activities include checking incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality, updating inventory records, preparing orders for delivery, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.
- The role also involves coordinating with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely movement of goods, as well as performing basic data entry and reporting.
- The Warehouse Keeper will follow established guidelines, comply with health and safety regulations, and support continuous improvement of warehouse processes.
Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, and dispatch.
- Ability to use basic inventory systems or spreadsheets to track stock and update records accurately.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage goods, labelling, and documentation.
- Knowledge of standard safety practices in warehousing, including manual handling and safe equipment use.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for counting items, checking documents, and completing reports.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with colleagues, supervisors, drivers, and suppliers.
- Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and manage time effectively in a part time schedule.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environment in Dubai or the UAE is an advantage.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and handle moderate lifting as required by warehouse tasks.
- Secondary school certificate or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or warehousing is a plus.
