Role Overview
The role manages receiving, storage, quality checking, inventory control, and distribution of food raw materials and restaurant supplies.
The position requires hands-on experience in restaurant, food-service, catering, or supermarket operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant group warehouse.
- Receive food raw materials, beverages, packaging materials, cleaning supplies, and other stock.
- Check the quality, freshness, quantity, weight, expiry dates, temperature, packaging, and condition of incoming food products.
- Reject poor-quality, damaged, expired, spoiled, or substandard raw materials when necessary.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with Purchasing and Operations teams.
- Document goods received, issued, transferred, returned, damaged, and discarded.
- Work with the Central Kitchen, Purchasing, Accounts, and Restaurant Operations teams.
Mandatory Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant, catering, food-service, food distribution, or supermarket operations is mandatory.
- Strong practical knowledge of food products and raw materials is required.
- The candidate must be able to identify the quality and freshness of food ingredients.
