I am seeking an experienced person with the following knowledge & skills to join our fantastic team;
- Demonstrated clerical experience within a hospital setting, medical practice, or fast-paced health environment. Prior exposure to surgical or perioperative terminology is highly regarded.
- Proficiency using the IPM patient management systems and standard office software is desirable.
- Exceptional interpersonal capabilities with the ability to maintain empathy and be calm under pressure.
- Exceptional time management, organisational skills and the ability to problem solve under pressure.
- A strong customer service approach.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Providing a welcoming, professional front-of-house reception for planned and surgical admissions, family members, and visiting medical staff.
- Coordinating admission, transfer, and discharge paperwork and ensuring that patient clinical files are meticulously prepared, tracked, and archived.
- Managing department inventory and stock ordering.
