Role Overview
Glitch Cafe is hiring a Waitress or Barista for an urgent opening in Abu Dhabi.
The role combines customer service, beverage preparation, food service, payment handling, and cafe upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide drink menus.
- Answer customer questions about ingredients.
- Take orders accurately, including coffee blend, dairy, and sugar preferences.
- Prepare beverages according to recipes.
- Serve beverages and prepared food such as cookies, pastries, and muffins.
- Receive and process cash and credit card payments.
- Keep the bar area clean and maintain clean mugs and plates.
- Check brewing equipment and report maintenance needs.
- Comply with health and safety regulations.
- Share customer feedback with managers and recommend new menu items.
Requirements and Skills
- Previous work experience as a Waitress or Barista.
- Hands-on experience with brewing equipment.
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
- Ability to gauge customer preferences.
- Excellent communication skills.
- One year of waiter experience is preferred.
