Role Overview
Glitch Cafe is seeking a hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented Cleaner / Kitchen Helper to support daily café operations.
The role focuses on maintaining a clean and organized environment while assisting the kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas.
- Assist with basic food preparation as directed by kitchen staff.
- Dispose of waste and recycling according to hygiene standards.
- Restock cleaning supplies and kitchen essentials when needed.
- Help receive and store deliveries appropriately.
- Follow food safety, health, and workplace safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning, kitchen helper, or hospitality experience.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Physically fit and able to carry light loads.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required.
