Job summary
The Meydan Hotel is seeking a Waiter/Waitress for its In Room Dining operation.
The role delivers food and beverage service, supports guest requests, and maintains high service quality and hospitality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform assigned food and beverage tasks according to hotel quality standards.
- Provide a link between kitchen and service areas.
- Maintain food and beverage knowledge and advise guests on products.
- Receive and store food and beverages in accordance with hygiene procedures.
- Monitor served food and beverage quality and report issues to the Outlet Manager or F&B Team Leader.
- Use upselling techniques to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue.
- Coordinate special guest requests and report guest feedback to leaders and managers.
- Demonstrate teamwork and maintain consistent service quality.
Skills, experience, and education
- Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are preferable.
- Basic food and beverage knowledge is required.
- Hospitality or food and beverage experience, preferably in a five-star lodge environment, is advantageous.
- Ability to lift heavy objects for duties and guest requests.
- Ability to work with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, and cooperation.
