Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Support the smooth running of the banquets department and deliver conference and banqueting service to a high standard.
• Work as part of a team to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort and respond positively and promptly to guest enquiries.
• Complete assigned duties and tasks in a timely and professional manner.
• Deliver departmental plans and objectives and support achievement of hotel initiatives and targets.
• Collaborate with the immediate supervisor to control costs and inventory and achieve productivity and performance targets.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships while promoting company culture and values.
• Follow applicable legislation, due diligence requirements, and best-practice activities, including documentation and audit follow-up.

Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage service is beneficial but not essential.
• Candidates should be committed to exceptional guest service and passionate about hospitality.
• Candidates should be able to find creative solutions and take ownership of assigned duties.
• Personal integrity and the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence are expected.
• Strong communication skills are required.
