Key responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements.
- Present menus and provide information about menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Take accurate orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve orders efficiently while maintaining presentation and food quality standards.
- Check guest satisfaction, resolve issues, and support a smooth service flow.
- Clear and reset tables and maintain dining-area cleanliness and hygiene.
- Process bills and handle different payment methods.
- Comply with food safety regulations and company policies.
Skills and qualifications
- Proven waiter/waitress or similar customer service experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure is required.
- A positive attitude, professional appearance, and attention to customer needs are expected.
- Basic math skills for handling payments are required.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale systems is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic or other languages are a plus.
