Role Overview

Guest Service

• Read daily events and acknowledge VIP arrivals.
• Know menu items, garnishes, contents, preparation methods, specials, and alternative cuisine.
• Present children’s menus when appropriate and explain menu information politely.
• Serve and clear food and beverage items professionally.
• Check guest satisfaction, resolve problems, and report issues and comments to the manager.

Outlet Operations

• Operate the POS system, ring sales, print and close checks, and complete cash-out procedures.
• Carry trays, bus and reset tables, and set tables with linen, china, glass, and silver.
• Polish silver and replenish salt, pepper, sugar, creamers, and other condiments.
• Keep the workstation, restaurant, service areas, and storage areas clean, safe, stocked, and orderly.
• Perform opening and closing side duties as assigned.
• Assist other Food and Beverage outlets during peak hours when needed.

Compliance and Equipment

• Follow cash and credit card procedures according to accounting department guidelines.
• Maintain operating equipment and minimize waste, neglect, breakage, and mishandling of supplies.
• Learn and follow safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies.
• Report deviations from standards and procedures to the manager.

Experience and Education

• At least one year of food and beverage serving experience.
• Previous public contact and/or cashiering experience.
• Secondary education.

Personal Attributes

• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
• Professional presentation and grooming.
• Ability to handle cash effectively and efficiently.
• Good communication, customer contact, and problem resolution skills.
• Basic food and beverage product knowledge.
• Teamwork, strong interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
