Role Overview
Serve as the face of Rosa's Thai Restaurant by providing friendly, efficient customer service.
Support a smooth and enjoyable dining experience through accurate service and collaboration with the front-of-house team.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests, arrange seating for groups, and accommodate special requests.
- Explain menu items, take accurate orders, and note dietary restrictions or special requests.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining clean and organized dining areas.
- Handle checks and payments accurately and answer questions about ingredients and preparation.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to support efficient order preparation and timely service.
- Promote menu items, seasonal dishes, beverages, promotions, and special offerings.
- Follow the restaurant sequence of service and maintain thorough menu knowledge.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Strong verbal communication skills for guest and team interactions.
- Restaurant experience or familiarity with Thai cuisine is beneficial.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize during busy service periods.
- Professional problem-solving skills for handling guest concerns.
