Role overview
eathos is seeking a skilled and passionate Barista for catering operations, events, and off-site functions.
The role requires consistent beverage quality, excellent guest experiences, and adaptability to different event locations and service requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of specialty coffee beverages.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate espresso machines and grinders.
- Maintain consistent taste, presentation, and portion standards.
- Set up and dismantle coffee stations at venues and events.
- Prepare mise en place and monitor coffee, milk, syrups, cups, and other stock.
- Provide professional guest and client service during high-volume events.
- Follow recipes, beverage specifications, brand standards, and food-safety requirements.
- Clean and sanitise equipment, utensils, counters, and service areas.
- Report basic equipment issues and maintenance requirements.
- Work with catering, kitchen, and service teams and support event operations.
- Represent the brand professionally at client and event locations.
Requirements
- Previous Barista experience in hospitality, specialty coffee, or catering is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of espresso-based coffee preparation is required.
