A waiter or waitress is responsible for providing high-quality service by greeting guests, taking accurate food and beverage orders, serving items, and managing payments.
They ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining a clean, welcoming environment and communicating effectively with the kitchen to deliver a positive dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- **Customer Service:** Greeting guests warmly, presenting menus, and answering questions regarding ingredients, substitutions, or specials.
- **Ordering & Service:** Taking food/drink orders, relaying them to the kitchen, and serving items promptly.
- **Table Maintenance:** Clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables throughout the shift.
- **Sales & Upselling:** Recommending appetizers, beverages, or desserts to increase sales and enhance the dining experience.
- **Payment Processing:** Preparing checks, handling cash/credit transactions, and processing payments accurately.
- **Hygiene & Safety:** Adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
