Role Overview
The Waiter is responsible for first-class food and service delivery in line with the restaurant’s operational procedures and brand standards.
Guest interaction is central to the role, including speaking with guests, taking care of them, making recommendations, and supporting the full guest journey.
Guest Service Responsibilities
- Know the food and drinks menu and converse comfortably with guests.
- Identify and resolve guest service issues when possible and report unresolved issues to a manager promptly.
- Treat every guest respectfully and maintain a warm, professional manner during peak service.
- Work as part of the restaurant team while providing attentive service without close supervision.
- Complete relevant opening and closing checklists and follow line-manager communications.
- Log guest complaints and provide statements when required.
- Ensure guest checks include comment cards and encourage guest feedback on social media.
Requirements
- Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
- One to two years of related employment experience in an international environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
Workplace
- The role is full-time and performed in person at the restaurant.
