Compensation

• The stated compensation range is £170K–£190K for UK-based candidates.

About the Role

You Will

• Lead the Strategic Operations function across the UK and Europe and build capabilities for new markets, categories, partnerships, and growth initiatives.
• Take new operational capabilities from feasibility through design, build, launch, and stabilization.
• Develop launch and operating strategies across pharmacy, fulfillment, diagnostics, manufacturing, supply chain, and related capabilities.
• Assess global operating-model leverage versus local requirements involving regulations, infrastructure, partners, and customer needs.
• Assess the feasibility, complexity, investment, and sequencing of new growth opportunities.
• Lead execution across Operations, Product, Technology, Legal, Regulatory, Quality, Clinical, and other teams.
• Own relationships with strategic third-party pharmacies, labs, providers, and other partners.
• Evaluate build, buy, and partner decisions and establish appropriate operating solutions.
• Transition mature operations to functional or in-market operators while retaining strategic partnership ownership.
• Build repeatable approaches for launching and scaling markets, capabilities, and partnerships.
• Build and lead a high-performing Strategic Operations team.

You Have

• 15+ years of experience in operations, strategy, international expansion, or another complex operating environment, including significant leadership experience.
• Experience in a regulated operating environment; pharmacy, healthcare, digital health, or diagnostics experience is strongly preferred.
• A track record of building a market, category, facility, partnership, product, or operational capability from the ground up.
• Experience operating across the UK and/or Europe and navigating differences across markets.
• Strong business and operational judgment and the ability to identify important decisions and provide a clear point of view.
• Ability to move between operating-model design and detailed execution.
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills and experience driving outcomes across teams not directly managed.
• Experience building and managing complex external partnerships.
• Experience creating structure in ambiguous, fast-moving environments without unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams.
• German, French, and/or Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 30%, including across the UK, Europe, and the United States.
